How to File a Complaint Against Online Shopping Fraud

Save all evidence
Keep your order confirmation, invoice, payment receipt, transaction ID, screenshots, emails, chat messages, seller details, tracking information, and photos of the product you received.

Report financial fraud immediately
If your money was taken without permission from your bank account, card, or UPI, report the incident right away by calling 1930 or filing a complaint on the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal.

If the transaction was unauthorized or fraudulent, inform your bank, card company, UPI provider, or payment service provider immediately and ask about their fraud or dispute process.

Consider filing a complaint with the Consumer Commission
If your issue isn't resolved by the seller or the consumer grievance process, you may want to approach the relevant Consumer Commission.
